Plug the TP-Link extender into a power outlet near your router
Wait until the power LED turns solid
Connect your phone or computer to the extender’s default Wi-Fi network
Open a web browser and go to tplinkrepeater.net or 192.168.0.254
Log in with the default credentials if prompted
Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list
Enter your Wi-Fi password
Choose the extender network name if asked
Save the settings
Wait for the extender to reboot
Move the extender to a location between your router and the weak signal area
Check the signal LEDs to confirm a strong connection
Connect your devices to the extended Wi-Fi network
