Open the group text conversation
Tap the group name, info icon, or details button
Select Add Contact, Add Participant, or Add Person
Choose the person from your contacts
Confirm to add them to the group
If the option is missing, create a new group with the person included
If your phone or app does not support adding people to an existing group, ask everyone to start a new group chat
