Open Google Search
Tap the AI Mode or AI Overview area
Look for a settings, options, or menu icon
Turn off AI Mode if the option is available
If no off switch appears, use the regular Search tab instead
Disable Search Labs or experimental AI features in Google settings
Turn off Google Assistant or Gemini features if they are what you mean by AI Mode
Clear browser cookies or app data if the AI setting keeps reappearing
Update the Google app if settings are missing
Use a different search engine if you want to avoid AI features entirely
