How to Make Icing Sugar?

Add granulated sugar to a dry blender, food processor, or spice grinder

Blend until it becomes a fine powder

Sift the powdered sugar to remove any coarse grains

Re-blend any coarse bits and sift again if needed

Use immediately or store in an airtight container

Optional: add 1 to 2 teaspoons of cornstarch per cup of sugar before blending to prevent clumping
