Enter the BIOS/UEFI setup by restarting the computer and pressing the setup key during startup
Use the BIOS menu to find the option for restoring defaults, such as Load Setup Defaults, Load Optimized Defaults, or Restore Defaults
Select the default reset option
Confirm the reset when prompted
Save changes and exit the BIOS
If needed, perform a factory reset from the operating system or recovery environment after rebooting
If the BIOS is locked or inaccessible, use the motherboard CMOS reset method by removing the CMOS battery or using the clear CMOS jumper with the power off
