Open Instagram and find the post with the picture you want
Tap the three dots on the post
If available, choose Save to save it inside Instagram
If you want the image on your device, take a screenshot
Crop the screenshot to remove extra parts
If it is your own photo, open the post in Instagram, tap the three dots, and use Download or Save Original if available
If the image is from someone else, ask for permission before saving or using it
On a computer, open the post in a browser and use your device’s screenshot tool
Check your phone or computer gallery or downloads folder for the saved image
