Drape the cravat around your neck with one end longer than the other
Cross the longer end over the shorter end
Bring the longer end up and through the neck loop
Wrap the longer end around the front of the shorter end
Bring the longer end up through the neck loop again
Pull the longer end down through the front knot
Tighten the knot gently
Center the knot at the base of your neck
Tuck the ends neatly into your shirt or vest
Adjust the folds for a smooth, even look
