Complete KYC and activate your trading and Demat account
Ensure you have a commodity segment activated on Kite
Add funds to your Zerodha account
Log in to Kite web or mobile app
Go to the commodities section or search for the commodity contract
Select the commodity futures or options contract you want to trade
Check contract details such as expiry, lot size, and margin required
Place a buy or sell order
Choose order type such as market, limit, or stop-loss
Review the order and submit it
Track open positions in the positions or holdings section
Square off the position before expiry if you do not want delivery
Monitor margin requirements and mark-to-market changes
Use Zerodha’s contract note and reports to review trades
Follow exchange rules and trading hours for commodity markets
