Enter the starting value in a cell
Select the cell or range to fill
Drag the fill handle across or down
Use the Fill command from the Home tab
Choose Series from the Fill options
Set the series type: Linear, Growth, Date, or AutoFill
Set the step value and stop value if needed
Click OK to apply the series
Use Ctrl while dragging to copy instead of fill
Use Flash Fill for pattern-based entries
