Open Spotify and sign in
Start playing a song, album, or playlist
Open the Now Playing screen
Tap the Connect icon
Select a device to play on, if needed
To listen together remotely, start a Jam
Tap the Connect icon
Select Start a Jam
Invite friends by link, QR code, or nearby devices
Have friends join the Jam from their Spotify app
Add songs to the shared queue
For local listening, use the same speaker or device
For group listening in person, connect everyone to the same playback device
Make sure everyone has Spotify installed and is signed in
Use Spotify Premium if required for some group listening features
Keep the host device connected during the session
