Turn off the device immediately
Disconnect the charger and any accessories
Hold the device with the charging port facing downward
Gently tap the device against your palm to help drain water
Wipe the exterior dry with a soft lint-free cloth
Leave the device in a dry, well-ventilated area
Use a fan to move air across the charging port
Let the device dry for several hours before charging
Do not use heat sources such as hair dryers or ovens
Do not insert cotton swabs, pins, or other objects into the port
Do not charge the device until the port is completely dry
If available, use a desiccant packet near the device
Check for moisture warnings before reconnecting the charger
