Open the Google Photos app
Sign in to your Google account
Select the photo or video you want to save
Tap the three-dot menu
Tap Download or Save to device
Open your phone’s Gallery or Photos app
Check the Downloads, Camera, or Google Photos folder
If the photo was already backed up, it may already be in your device gallery
On iPhone, use the Share button and tap Save Image
On Android, make sure Google Photos has storage permission
If Download is not available, the file may already be on your device or may be restricted by the owner
