Install a trusted ad blocker from the Chrome Web Store
Open Chrome and go to the Chrome Web Store
Search for an ad blocker such as uBlock Origin or AdBlock
Click Add to Chrome
Confirm by clicking Add extension
Open the ad blocker settings
Enable filter lists for ads and trackers
Add Google ad domains to the block list if the extension supports custom filters
Turn on pop-up and redirect blocking in Chrome settings
Open Chrome settings
Go to Privacy and security
Select Site settings
Open Pop-ups and redirects
Block unwanted permissions for suspicious sites
Disable ad personalization in your Google account
Go to Google Account settings
Open Data and privacy
Find My Ad Center
Turn off ad personalization
Clear cookies and site data if ads keep reappearing
Keep Chrome and the ad blocker extension updated
Remove any suspicious extensions that may interfere with ad blocking
Use Chrome’s built-in Safe Browsing protection
Reset Chrome settings if ads persist
