Open the photo in an editor that supports blur effects
Duplicate the image layer
Apply a blur filter to the duplicated layer
Add a layer mask to the blurred layer
Fill the mask with black to hide the blur
Select the sides of the photo on the mask
Paint white on the mask over the side areas you want blurred
Feather the mask edges for a smooth transition
Adjust blur strength as needed
Save or export the edited photo
