How to Make a Fabric Book?

Gather fabric, batting, thread, needle or sewing machine, scissors, ruler, pins, and optional embellishments

Cut fabric pages to the desired size

Cut batting pieces slightly smaller than the fabric pages

Place batting between two fabric pieces for each page

Pin the layers together

Sew around the edges, leaving a small opening

Turn the page right side out through the opening

Press the page flat

Close the opening with a topstitch or hand stitch

Repeat for all pages

Add appliqués, pockets, ribbons, buttons, or other fabric features

Stack the finished pages in order

Sew or bind the pages together along one edge

Reinforce the spine with extra stitching if needed

Trim loose threads

Check that all decorations are securely attached
