How to Make Rice Paper?

Soak rice flour in water to make a smooth batter

Add a small amount of tapioca starch for flexibility, if desired

Mix in salt, if desired

Heat a nonstick pan or steam cloth over boiling water

Spread a thin layer of batter evenly on the hot surface

Steam or cook until the sheet turns translucent and sets

Lift the rice paper carefully with a spatula or hands

Place on a clean surface or drying rack

Dry completely until firm and pliable

Store in an airtight container once fully dry
