Open the Camera app
Tap the Settings gear icon
Look for Shutter sound
Turn Shutter sound off
If no shutter sound option appears, set your phone to Silent or Mute mode
Lower the system volume to mute media and ringtone sounds
Check if the camera app is using a region-locked shutter sound setting
Use Do Not Disturb if shutter sound is still enabled
Try using the volume key to switch to silent mode before taking photos
Restart the phone after changing sound settings
Update the Camera app and software if the option is missing
