Break off about 18 inches of floss
Wind most of it around one middle finger
Wind the rest around the other middle finger
Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and index fingers
Gently guide the floss between two teeth
Curve the floss into a C shape against one tooth
Slide it up and down along the side of the tooth
Move the floss under the gumline slightly
Repeat on the other side of the same gap
Use a clean section of floss for each new tooth gap
Floss all teeth, including the back teeth
Be gentle to avoid snapping the floss into the gums
Floss once a day
Rinse your mouth after flossing if desired
