Treat all pets in the home at the same time
Wash the cat’s bedding, blankets, and any washable fabrics in hot water
Vacuum carpets, rugs, furniture, and baseboards thoroughly
Dispose of vacuum contents immediately after cleaning
Repeat flea treatment as directed on the product label
Keep the cat indoors while treating and monitoring for fleas
