Open Snapchat
Tap your profile icon
Tap the gear icon to open Settings
Tap Snap Map or Lens Studio, depending on the filter type you want to create
For a custom Lens, download and open Lens Studio on your computer
Sign in with your Snapchat account
Choose a template or start a new project
Add your graphics, effects, text, or animations
Adjust the size, position, and timing of each element
Test the filter using the preview tools
Fix any issues and refine the design
Export or publish the Lens from Lens Studio
Submit it for Snapchat review
Wait for approval
Once approved, share the filter through Snapchat
For a geofilter, create the design in the Snapchat Geofilters tool
Set the location and time range for the geofilter
Submit the geofilter for review
Use the approved geofilter within the selected area and time
