Open the Snapchat app
Go to the chat or Snap you want to save
Press and hold the Snap or message
Tap Save in Chat if the option appears
For a photo or video Snap, use the download or save option if available
Use the Memories feature to save Snaps to your account
Before sending, tap the save icon if you want to keep a Snap
To save your own Snap, tap the download arrow before posting
Check your device settings if Snapchat asks for photo or storage permissions
Use your phone’s screen recording or screenshot feature if allowed by the sender and local laws
