Gather materials: wood logs, planks, slabs, fences, gates, glass, torches, hay bales, and a roof material
Choose a flat area with enough space for the barn
Mark out the barn’s footprint with blocks
Build the outer walls using logs for corners and planks for the sides
Leave openings for doors and windows
Add a large front entrance for animals or storage access
Install doors or fence gates at the entrance
Build the roof using stairs and slabs in a peaked shape
Extend the roof over the edges for a barn-style look
Add windows with glass panes or open gaps with fences
Create loft space inside if desired
Divide the interior into stalls using fences or walls
Place hay bales, chests, barrels, and crafting stations inside
Add lighting with torches, lanterns, or glowstone
Decorate the exterior with fences, hay bales, and a water trough
Add a silo or side shed if you want a larger farm build
Surround the barn with a fence to keep animals contained
Place animals inside and close the gates
Finish with paths, crops, and farm decorations around the barn
