Place the onions in a perforated plastic bag or airtight container
Store in the refrigerator crisper drawer
Keep the green tops dry to prevent sliminess
Refresh the damp paper towel if it dries out
Use within 1 to 2 weeks for best quality
For longer storage, chop and freeze in a sealed freezer bag
