How to Cook Tortillas?

Mix flour or masa harina with water and a pinch of salt

Knead until smooth

Divide into small balls

Flatten each ball with a tortilla press or rolling pin

Heat a dry skillet or griddle over medium-high heat

Place one tortilla on the hot surface

Cook until bubbles form and the bottom has light brown spots

Flip and cook the other side until lightly browned

Flip once more if needed for full cooking

Remove and keep warm in a clean towel

Repeat with the remaining dough
