How to Disable Commenting on Facebook Post?

Open the Facebook app or website

Go to the post you want to edit

Click or tap the three dots on the post

Select Edit audience or Privacy settings if available

Choose who can comment, if the option is shown

If you are using a Page post, open Page settings or post settings

Select Settings and privacy

Go to Followers and public content

Find Public post comments

Change the comment setting to Friends or Friends of friends

For a Page post, use the post’s settings to limit who can comment

If no direct comment control is available, delete the post and repost with stricter privacy settings

For group posts, change the group’s posting and commenting permissions in Group settings
