Open the Photos app
Tap Albums
Scroll down and tap Recently Deleted
Tap Select
Tap Delete All to remove all deleted photos permanently
Or tap individual photos
Tap Delete to remove selected photos permanently
Enter your passcode or use Face ID if prompted
Confirm Delete Photos
To remove photos from iCloud too, make sure iCloud Photos is enabled
To clear deleted photos from a Mac or iPad, repeat the same steps on that device
