Click the three dots below the video or next to the title
Select Show transcript
Copy the transcript text from the transcript panel
Paste it into a document or text file
If Show transcript is not available, use a third-party transcript downloader or browser extension
If needed, use YouTube Studio for your own uploaded videos to access captions and transcripts
Save the copied transcript as .txt, .docx, or .pdf
