Gather cardstock or thick paper, scissors, glue, ruler, pencil, and a printed car template or pattern
Choose a car design and scale it to the desired size
Print or draw the car template onto paper
Cut out all body parts, wheels, windows, and tabs
Fold along all marked lines
Score fold lines lightly with a ruler and blunt tool for cleaner folds
Apply glue or tape to the tabs
Assemble the car body piece by piece
Attach the roof, hood, trunk, and side panels
Build and attach the wheels
Reinforce weak joints with extra paper or glue
Add windows, headlights, grille, and other details
Let the glue dry completely
Trim any uneven edges
Paint or color the papercraft car if desired
