Bake two round cakes or one round cake and one cupcake
Let the cakes cool completely
Place one round cake on a serving plate for the face
Cut the second round cake into two ear shapes and a bow tie or cheeks if desired
Attach the ears to the top of the face cake with frosting
Use frosting to cover the entire cake
Add coconut flakes or white sprinkles for fur if desired
Use two candies or chocolate chips for the eyes
Use a pink candy or frosting for the nose
Pipe a small mouth with black or pink frosting
Add whiskers with licorice, thin candy strings, or piped frosting
Shape the cupcake or extra cake pieces into a bunny tail and place it below the face if desired
Decorate with pastel candies around the cake
Chill briefly before serving
