Insert the pendrive into your Mac
Open Disk Utility
Select the pendrive from the sidebar
Click Erase
Choose a format such as exFAT, MS-DOS (FAT), or Mac OS Extended
Choose a scheme such as GUID Partition Map if needed
Enter a name for the drive
Click Erase to start formatting
Wait for the process to complete
Click Done or eject the pendrive safely
