Press Shift + Command + 5
Choose Record Entire Screen or Record Selected Portion
Click Options to set save location, timer, microphone, and other settings
Click Record
To stop recording, click the Stop button in the menu bar or press Command + Control + Esc
Find the saved recording in the selected save location
Open QuickTime Player
Go to File > New Screen Recording
Click the arrow next to the Record button to choose microphone and options
Click Record
Click the screen to record the entire screen, or drag to select an area
To stop recording, click the Stop button in the menu bar
Save the recording when prompted
