Wash your hands first
Hold the CD by the edges or center hole
Blow off loose dust gently
Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth
Wipe from the center straight outward to the edge
Do not wipe in circles
Dampen the cloth slightly with clean water if needed
For stubborn dirt, use a small amount of mild dish soap and water
Rinse gently with clean water if soap is used
Dry with a clean, soft cloth
Let the CD air dry completely before using
Avoid paper towels, tissues, and rough fabrics
Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, and alcohol unless necessary
Store the CD in a case after cleaning
