Place 5 matching material items in the armor pattern for a helmet
Place 8 matching material items in the armor pattern for a chestplate
Place 7 matching material items in the armor pattern for leggings
Place 4 matching material items in the armor pattern for boots
Use leather, iron ingots, gold ingots, diamonds, netherite ingots, or chainmail for the armor material
For a leather helmet, place leather in all slots except the top middle and middle left/right as needed by the helmet pattern
For a leather chestplate, place leather in the chestplate pattern
For a leather leggings, place leather in the leggings pattern
For leather boots, place leather in the boots pattern
For iron armor, use iron ingots in the same armor patterns
For gold armor, use gold ingots in the same armor patterns
For diamond armor, use diamonds in the same armor patterns
For netherite armor, first craft diamond armor, then upgrade it with a netherite ingot at a smithing table
For chainmail armor, obtain it through trading, looting, or mob drops rather than crafting
Move the crafted armor into your inventory
Equip the armor from your inventory or armor slots
