How To Port Jio To Airtel?

Check your current Jio plan and ensure your Jio SIM is active

Confirm your eligibility for number portability (same mobile number, same service type)

Choose Airtel as the recipient operator for porting

Keep your KYC details ready (Aadhaar and/or other required documents)

Collect your porting information: Jio mobile number and circle/service area

Visit an Airtel store or use the Airtel port-in/number portability process available online

Fill the Number Portability (MNP) request form with your Jio mobile number

Provide required KYC documents and any additional details asked during the request

Verify the request using OTP/confirmation as prompted

Submit the port request and note the MNP request/service ID

Wait for the porting date and time confirmation

Keep your Jio SIM active and available until the port completes

Ensure adequate balance on Jio until the switch is done (avoid deactivation)

On the porting day, keep the phone reachable and do not remove the SIM unnecessarily

Insert the Airtel SIM in the same device after it is provided by Airtel

After the port completes, verify that calls, SMS, and data work on the Airtel number

If needed, restart the phone and re-check network settings/APN for data

If porting fails or delays, contact Airtel support using the MNP request/service ID
