Brush off any loose salt and dirt with a soft suede brush or dry cloth
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water
Dampen a clean cloth with the solution
Gently blot the salt stains, do not soak the boots
Wipe the area with a cloth dampened with plain water
Stuff the boots with paper towels to help them keep their shape
Let the boots air dry away from direct heat or sunlight
Brush the suede again once dry to restore the nap
Repeat if needed for stubborn salt marks
Apply a suede protector after cleaning to help prevent future stains
