Use a soft measuring tape
Have your dog stand naturally
Measure the widest part of the chest, usually just behind the front legs
Wrap the tape around the chest and under the body
Keep the tape snug but not tight
Record the measurement in inches or centimeters
Measure twice to confirm accuracy
Compare the measurement to the sizing chart for the item you want to buy
