Select ripe avocados
Wash the avocados
Cut the avocados in half
Remove the pits
Scoop out the flesh
Mash or blend the flesh into a paste
Spread the paste in a thin layer on a tray or pan
Dry the paste thoroughly in the sun or a dehydrator
Stir or turn the paste occasionally while drying
Place the dried paste in a bowl or press
Press or squeeze out the oil
Strain the extracted oil through a fine cloth or filter
Store the oil in a clean, airtight container
Keep the container in a cool, dark place
