Press Control + Option + Command + Power button
Press Control + Option + Command + Eject on older MacBooks
Press and hold the Power button until the MacBook turns off
Press Control + Power button, then select Shut Down with arrow keys and press Return
Press Command + Option + Esc, then use the keyboard to close apps before shutting down if needed
