Check whether your keyboard has a backlight key
Look for a key with a light icon, keyboard icon, or sun icon
Press the backlight key alone
Press the backlight key together with the Fn key
Try Fn + F5, Fn + F6, Fn + F7, Fn + F8, or similar function keys
Use the keyboard software or control app if your keyboard has one
Open your laptop settings and search for keyboard backlight
Increase the keyboard backlight brightness if available
Make sure the keyboard is connected and powered on
Replace or charge the battery if the keyboard is wireless
Restart the device if the lights still do not turn on
