Check whether your router supports VPN client functionality
Log in to your router’s admin panel
Update the router firmware if needed
Download the VPN configuration files from your VPN provider
Note the VPN server address, username, password, and protocol
Open the VPN or WAN settings in the router interface
Select the VPN type or protocol required by your provider
Enter the VPN server details and login credentials
Upload any required configuration files or certificates
Save the settings
Enable the VPN client on the router
Reboot the router if prompted
Connect a device to the router and verify the VPN connection
Test your IP address to confirm the VPN is active
