Wear gloves, a mask, and eye protection
Open windows and turn on the bathroom fan
Spray the mold with white vinegar or a mold cleaner
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Scrub the area with a brush or sponge
Rinse with warm water
Dry the shower completely with a towel
Repeat if needed
Use bleach only on non-porous surfaces if appropriate
Never mix bleach with vinegar, ammonia, or other cleaners
Remove and replace caulk or grout if mold keeps returning
Keep the shower dry after use
Clean the shower regularly to prevent regrowth
