Open Google Maps
Search for the location or zoom in to the area
Click or tap and hold on the map to drop a pin
On desktop, right-click the spot and select the dropped pin option
On mobile, press and hold the spot until the pin appears
Tap or click the pin to view details
Select Save if you want to add it to a list
Select Label if you want to name the pinned place
Share the pin if you want to send the location to someone else
