Turn off Announce Notifications
To stop Siri announcements for specific apps, leave Announce Notifications on and turn off the apps you do not want announced
To stop call announcements, go to Settings
Tap Siri & Search
Tap Announce Calls
Select Never
To stop message announcements in CarPlay, go to Settings
Tap Notifications
Tap Announce Notifications
Turn off Announce Messages with Siri
To stop Siri announcements on AirPods directly, open Control Center
Press and hold the volume control
Turn off Announce Notifications if shown
On Mac, open System Settings
Click Notifications
Turn off Announce Notifications
On Apple Watch, open Settings
Tap Siri
Turn off Announce Notifications
If needed, disconnect AirPods and reconnect them after changing the settings
