Make sure Bluetooth is turned on your phone
Put the AirPods in their charging case
Open the case lid
Hold the case near your phone
Wait for the setup prompt to appear on your phone
Tap Connect
Follow any on-screen instructions
If prompted, press and hold the setup button on the back of the case
Wait for pairing to complete
Close the case and start using the AirPods
