Open Google Maps
Start navigation
Tap the speaker icon
Select Mute or Alerts only
On Android, press the volume button and lower the Maps volume
On iPhone, use the in-app speaker icon or lower the media volume
To disable voice prompts completely, go to Google Maps settings
Tap Navigation settings
Turn off Voice guidance or set it to Muted
If using Bluetooth, disconnect or lower the car audio volume
