Wash and dry your hands before use
Use one applicator full of Monistat 3 cream at bedtime for 3 nights in a row, unless your package says otherwise
Remove the cap from the tube and attach the applicator if included
Fill the applicator with the prescribed amount of cream
Lie on your back with knees bent, or stand with one foot raised
Gently insert the applicator into the vagina as far as it comfortably goes
Push the plunger to release the cream
Remove and discard the applicator if it is disposable, or clean it if it is reusable
Wash your hands again after use
Use the product for all 3 nights even if symptoms improve sooner
Avoid using tampons, douches, or other vaginal products unless directed by a clinician
Wear a panty liner if needed for leakage
Stop use and contact a clinician if symptoms worsen, return soon after treatment, or do not improve
Seek medical care right away if you have fever, pelvic pain, bad-smelling discharge, or signs of an allergic reaction
