Drop the old color before completing the stitch
Yarn over with the new color
Pull the new color through to finish the stitch
Continue crocheting with the new color
Leave a short tail to weave in later
Secure both yarn ends neatly
Change colors at the end of a row for the cleanest edge
For in-round work, change colors on the last stitch before the new round
Carry unused yarn along the edge if needed
Weave in all ends when finished
