Turn off and unplug the air purifier
Remove the filter from the unit
Check the user manual for your specific Levoit model
Vacuum the pre-filter gently with a soft brush attachment
Wipe the exterior of the filter housing with a dry cloth
Do not wash the HEPA filter with water
Do not use soap, chemicals, or compressed air on the HEPA filter
Replace the filter if it is damaged, heavily dirty, or at the end of its lifespan
Reinstall the filter correctly
Reset the filter indicator if your model has one
