Remove the pad from the polisher
Tap out loose residue
Rinse under warm water
Apply a small amount of pad cleaner or mild soap
Work the cleaner through the pad with your fingers
Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear
Squeeze out excess water
Repeat cleaning if residue remains
Spin the pad on the polisher at low speed to remove remaining moisture
Let the pad air dry completely before reuse
Store the pad in a clean, dry place
