Find the balloon’s neck or valve
Gently pinch the opening to release air
Insert a straw if the balloon has a self-sealing valve
Press the balloon flat while holding the opening open
Slowly push the air out
Remove the straw once deflated
Fold the balloon flat for storage or disposal
